The execution of two Palestinians accused of aiding Israel by Hamas is a chilling precedent for people caught in the region. Hamas also says they will increase the executions of people spying for Israel, which can lead to even more of a culture of fear than there already is. What about the Palestinians who remained in Israel after 1948? This policy makes their mere presence an extra mark against them if anything else were to put them in suspicious circumstances. Hamas could essentially be profiling the people they claim to be protecting. If this policy gets too out of hand, they could (and should) see even more serious resistance from Palestinians who had previously supported their power.
Not only that, but Hamas are fighting for national solidarity and sovereignty of Jerusalem, yet this can only be done through communication with Israel. By aiding an Israelite The men who were convicted to death were peacefully putting this desire to practice. Unity can over throw a tyrannical regime. Here in the West the unity of African Americans and some Christians banded together in brotherhood to defeat white supremacist groups such as the KKK. If the average citizens from both Palestine and Israel should band together in the comradeship of international human rights, then they can defeat the Hamas and any other politically/socially destructive movement in their region.
